About Choosing the Gauge

16g and 18g round rings are generally the easiest rings to weave, so they're usually the best sizes for learning a new weave and for beginners.

Tiny 26g and 24g rings are challenging to weave, as are heavy 12g and 10g rings, and all shaped rings (square, diamond, etc.) so we recommend avoiding those until you're an experienced mailler.

Prices shown below are per inch of chain.

About This Weave

Skillset: Journeyman

Weave Difficulty: Somewhat challenging.

Jens Pind's Linkage is a very tight spiral weave. A lot of people find it challenging to learn, but it's easier if you learn Double Spiral 4-in-1 first.
