I had been wanting to try chain maille for quite some time and this kit was the perfect way to do it. Excellent instructions with beautiful results. I should have ordered more than the one kit because once I started, I didn't want to stop. It's so much fun and much easier than I anticipated. The Ring Tool is worth it's weight in gold...er silver.

Absolutely Outstanding! When reviewing the website, I thought, boy these are gorgeous. But quickly found that to be an under statement after purchasing the kit and creating all three bracelets within 2 nights. I can't rate this kit high enough and I am back for more! I loved it! Great directions. Each bracelt took me 1 1/2- 2hrs. They turned out great. People can't believe I made them!! Great starter kit!!

I got this kit and in one evening I had the Byzantine complete and the next day, the flower. The attention to detail is amazing from the packaging to the great directions!

Bought the three kit pack to have while a relative was in the hospital since I'd be spending a lot of time waiting. Absolutely AWESOME instructions. EVERYTHING was easy. I even made 2 tone bracelets w/ some 'leftovers' and some rings from goldenmaille.

I'm hooked!! Silver has never been more beautiful. The kits are wonderfully put together. The instructions are perfectly clear. What a wonderful way to learn!!!!

I sometimes have a hard time following some written directions, I had absolutely NO problems following these directions. They were concise, easy and to the point. I learned quickly and feel confident enough to move on to bigger and better things. I will be buying the more advanced kits in the future.

I purchased the 3 Beginning Weaves kit and made all three bracelets in about a day. The directions were clear and the results amazing. I worked on all three during a 2 day meeting (everyone works on something during the meeting) and they were all quite impressed when I was done. Excellent quality and amazing jewelry.

I am so glad that I bought the 3 beginning weaves kit. I learned three new weaves and it was so easy due to the excellent directions. I have made two and I am getting ready for the final one tonight. I just wish I had bought more so I can keep doing it and not have to wait for my next order to arrive. I have gotten so many complements on my bracelets that my friends want to buy them!! I just received my 3 beginning weaves kit yesterday. I have completed all 3 bracelets. The instruction books made everything so easy. The kit is great!

This is the best weave kit ever! They really did think of everything to include. you could be on the bus with this kit and be perfectly ok to start.

It was so exciting to open the beautiful tin and see all of the components so beautifully packaged. The instructions are excellent, and I've already completed the flower chain bracelet. It took me a little while to get used to closing the rings properly, but it's well worth it to take time to practice. I can't wait to get started on the next bracelet, and then start ordering the kit packs!

Worth the wait!!! Though still not long. I recieved the kit yesterday and started it immediatly I love how is sparkles and I love how it looks. One might say it looks very lithe. I really like it!

I have been interested in making my own chains for quite a while and have tried making some projects in some jewelry magazines, and have been quite discouraged. WHAT A DIFFERENCE THIS KIT MAKES!! Easy to follow directions (almost like you are with the instructor), beautiful materials, and a REAL sense of accomplishment when you are finished. I AM HOOKED. This kit is beautiful! Directions were easy to follow. I had thought of just buying a kit of just one design, but I'm glad I went ahead and got all three at once.

excellent kit/instructions!!

I have never attempted to make my own chain but saw these kits and thought I would give it a try. I am so glad that I did! First, the packaging is incredible...you get a large square metal container filled with smaller containers for your projects. All of these containers are beautiful and things I will use again and again. Second, the instructions are very well explained...I quickly got the hang of each weave. The instructions are spiral bound so they lay open on your table while you are working. Third, the final product is just incredible. I wear my bracelets all of the time. They are so professional looking that people don't even ask me about them...they assume it is something that I purchased in a store. I immediately purchased the Byzantine Rose necklace and Heavy Byzantine necklace kits and flew through those as well. Just really incredible rings, kits and Aislyn is an absolute pleasure to deal with. I now give all of my students her website as a resource.

I was a little nervous about diving right in and getting the whole shebang, since I have zero jewelry-making experience. However, I am completely hooked and I need NEED more kits now. The product was so nicely packaged, you could send it directly to a crafty friend as a present and feel good about it. Everything is clearly labelled, the directions are easy to follow, and I was astounded at how fast a beautiful bracelet appeared from my hands. Speaking as a graphic artist and jewelry designer I find these kits to be nothing short of amazing. Everything is so beautifully presented! The instructions are clear and the rings are superb--very clean and shiny! And the packaging—oh, my! And let's not forget the little extras included. I want them all!

Excellent kit-beautiful packaging! Everything you need to get started is included. I read the instructions a couple of times before I got started so that when I did, it all made sense to me! My bracelets look exactly like the pictures - I easily completed two of the three kits in one evening and the third the next day. Highly recommended!

This kit is fabulous. Getting it and opening it all up was like Christmas, beautifully packaged. The rings are so shiny & bright. I couldn't wait, went right to it and after 3 hours have a bracelet and a half. I started with the Byzantine, because that's what I wanted the most, and was worried, because it looked so complex. This kit makes it EASY!! THe rings open & close beautifully, I only scrapped 2 practicing. I do lots of beading & crafts, and this is the coolest thing I have made EVER. The instructions are great, easy to follow, great pictures, that you can actually tell what they refer to. I want more.

When this kit arrived in the mail yesterday I couldnt wait to open it when I got home. When I did, I was blown away by how beautifully wrapped and presented it was from the instant I opened the box. The instructions are beautiful and incredibly detailed, the rings are beautiful and I have already just about completed the first project!! In closing, if you are in Australia and you are thinking about buying a kit, do it, you won't be disappointed!

I received this kit and was astounded by how beautiful the rings were and how easy it was to weave. I've made the flower and 3-3 and will be making by byzantine next. I definately will be ordering from Urban Maille again. I was super satisfied with both the product and the customer service. Nice job!!!

I really admire that this is a modern Mom & Pop type of store. The flower weave is splendid, and I thought I did a remarkable first time job. However, when I did the 3-in-3, buyer beware! This weave should be the first weave to do, it literally forces you to close the rings in a flush manner and how to correct those pesky pringled rings. The 3rd weave came out quite lovely and causes people to stop me and admire my bracelet! Additionally, I must confess, I compared three different types of rings from three different resources, and I will not buy from anywhere else but here! The first type of ring snapped into 2 pieces, the second ring set never closed in a lovely flush manner, and the last set.. well the silver flaked off as I twisted the rings open and close.
