Anonymous I'm new to maille, but not to jewelry making, and have gotten used to closing jump rings. This is the first time I used the ring tool, which I got in the byzantine kit. I have to say that it made opening and closing the rings for the kit very quick, and I achieve a better, finer close on the rings using the tool than with two pairs of pliers. I would reccommend this to anyone new to using the quality rings from Urban Maille. I was able to avoid trashing the sterling and argentium rings I was using. Can't wait to try it out on the copper!
