Wallflowers Unitpacks

16g and 18g round rings are generally the easiest rings to weave, so they're usually the best sizes for learning a new weave and for beginners.

Tiny 26g and 24g rings are challenging to weave, as are heavy 12g and 10g rings, and all shaped rings (square, diamond, etc.) so we recommend avoiding those until you're an experienced mailler.

These are the round-wire jump ring sizes I use for Wallflowers, in 16g to 24g AWG. For each gauge you get the inner diameter (ID) in millimeters and rings per unit (RPU), so you know how many rings each medallion takes. Every ring is saw cut by hand in our studio, as we've done since 2003. To try the weave before you commit, start with Wallflowers unitpacks, the Wallflowers instructions, or round wire jump rings.
