Florentine Ornament Drape

The Florentine Ornament Drape makes the difference between a plain glass Christmas ball and a family heirloom. The delicate looking -- but actually quite sturdy -- crystal and precious metal net is easily moved to a different base ornament or removed for tumble polishing or storage. On the tree, the crystals and precious metals catch the light and throw it around like shiny, shiny Christmas magic. The year I made heirloom ornaments like these for the families I'm close to was the most popular I've ever been at Christmas... even with those who aren't always easy to please. ;)

Most of our kitpacks consist of perfectly sized and tested ringsets for weaves we did not create and which exist in the public domain. We freely share all those ring sizes, which represent many, many hours of weave testing. But this is not one of those. This is one of Aislyn's designs, Urban Maille Exclusives, all of which have very close tolerances and are sized specifically for our rings. We don't publish those ring sizes.

There's nothing in this section on any of the pages now because it's taking a bit of time to assemble the photos, but this will be a gallery of pieces made from the weave or design.
