Description

The Rocket Tool is an awl with the most perfect taper for chainmaking. Use the pointy end for moving rings out of the way, opening a little space to put another ring through, etc. Some weaves are almost impossible without a pointy stick... and this is much nicer than a toothpick. I have other awls, some with points that are too fat, too sharp, not comfortable to hold (I sound like Goldilocks) but this one is just right. The fan shaped end can be used to remove and replace watch pins or as a blade for opening letters, packages, etc. It's a handy little thing to have around. The Rocket Tool is included with all Intermediate Weave Kits.

Ring Listings & Recommendations

MTO (Make to Order) rings can take up to 10 days to ship (as opposed to our usual 1-2 business days) and cannot be returned to stock because we don't stock them.

Approx. Count per ozt is the approximate number of rings in a troy ounce.

1-4 each is the price of each troy ozt of rings when buying 1 to 4 troy ounces at a time.

5 or More Discount is the price of each troy ozt of rings when buying 5 or more troy ounces at a time.

Width is the measured width of the chain in millimeters.

Flex is the approximate inside diameter of the smallest circle that can be made with this chain... which tells you how flexible the chain is, in case we don't yet have a photo available.

Tested shows the test results for this weave in this ring size by metal.
SS = Sterling Silver
CP = Copper
AG = Argentium
PDS = Palladium Sterling
PTS = Platinum Sterling

A strike through like this CP means that the weave/ring size combination doesn't work in copper. Look for a neighboring ring size to be recommended for copper, instead.
