About the Rings
  • Our rings are listed by gauge -- American Wire Gauge (AWG) standard, also known as Brown & Sharpe -- and inner diameter (ID) in millimeters. 18g/3.5mm Round Sterling means the rings are sterling silver, made of 18g round wire wound on a 3.5mm mandrel.

  • Our rings are priced and sold by the troy ounce (ozt) as has been customary for precious metals since the middle ages. A troy ounce is about 10% heavier than the more familiar avoirdupois ounce, commonly used to weigh food and sundries.

  • Although most often purchased by the whole troy ounce, all of our rings are available by the half and quarter troy ounce, as well. Click the size listing or photo of the ring of your choice for small quantity purchasing options.

  • The number of rings in a troy ounce differs by ring size. For your convenience, we list approximate ring counts per troy ounce for each and every ring size we offer.

  • Quantity discount pricing is automatically applied any time 5 or more troy ounces of a single ring size is ordered. Quantity discounts are not available for rings purchased by the half or quarter troy ounce.

  • Our rings are packaged in glass topped tins so that you can see the size before breaking the seal. That's important because the rings can be returned for full credit only if the seal hasn't been broken. See our Return Policy for details.

  • Ring sizes marked MTO (Make to Order) can take up to 10 business days to ship (as opposed to our normal 1-2 business days) and cannot be returned, even with the seal intact, because we don't stock them. For this reason, we recommend ordering the smallest available quantity (žozt) the first time in order to make sure the size is right for your intended purpose.

Ring Listings & Recommendations

MTO (Make to Order) rings can take up to 10 days to ship (as opposed to our usual 1-2 business days) and cannot be returned to stock because we don't stock them.

Approx. Count per ozt is the approximate number of rings in a troy ounce.

1-4 each is the price of each troy ozt of rings when buying 1 to 4 troy ounces at a time.

5 or More Discount is the price of each troy ozt of rings when buying 5 or more troy ounces at a time.

Width is the measured width of the chain in millimeters.

Flex is the approximate inside diameter of the smallest circle that can be made with this chain... which tells you how flexible the chain is, in case we don't yet have a photo available.

Tested shows the test results for this weave in this ring size by metal.
SS = Sterling Silver
CP = Copper
AG = Argentium
PDS = Palladium Sterling
PTS = Platinum Sterling

A strike through like this CP means that the weave/ring size combination doesn't work in copper. Look for a neighboring ring size to be recommended for copper, instead.
